the
FOUNDERS'S DAY AT
ALPHA OMEGA
Alumni, parents, and friends of Alpha Omega
joined active Chapter members for Founder's
Day Weekend at Alpha Omega April 8-10. On
Friday evening, Brothers and guests enjoyed a
preview of UF football during the spring orange
and blue game. On Saturday afternoon, Brothers
cooked barbecue in the courtyard of the Tau
Mansion, followed by a formal dinner at the
Warehouse in Gainesville. Alpha Omega had
the honor of hosting Larry Smith '66 as the
keynote speaker for the Founder's Day activities,
who shared many interesting stories of his time
as a Brother at Alpha Omega. More than 160
Brothers and guests registered to attend the
Founder's Day banquet, the largest attendance in
Chapter records.
Brothers and their dates enjoy a moment during
the annual ATW spring formal in Atlanta, Ga.
