"What an emotional, special day for Mom and
for all in attendance on April 3. I wouldn't have
missed it for the world! It was such a touching
initiation ceremony. Ginny cried when she
pledged to remain a true and constant friend
to her sisters. I was pretty emotional, too. My
daughter, Paige '13, the chapter president,
initiated Mom, standing right next to the 1990
composite of my pledge class. Evin Burdette
Wood '90 even came all the way from Denver!
It was surreal and inspiring, with so much
tradition and love. All of
our hearts were so full!"

A NOTE FROM MOM HAYWARD
T
hank you so much to all Gamma Phis! I appreciated all who
attended my retirement party and was so happy to see everyone.
My only regret is that I wasn't able to talk to each of you for a longer
length of time.
One of the nicest times of my entire life was the 25 years I spent at the
Gamma Phi house. I appreciate so much the corporation board who takes
such good care of the house. I have met many wonderful young ladies
over the years and I have enjoyed each and every one of you! I don't
always remember all your names, but I will remember your faces and you
will always be in my heart.
I hope that you all have a wonderful life and please keep in touch. God
bless you!
