Long time Shasta County residents John Carelli and Shannon Ford have purchased Razzli- cious Frozen Yogurt and immediately announced their 5-year plans to do- nate $100,000 to commu- nity youth and nonprofit organizations in Shasta and Tehama counties through their Give 20% Back fundraiser program. "With the business grow- ing as it is, we are extremely excited about our goal to donate $100,000 to local school, sports and nonprofit organizations with our Give 20% Back program," said Ford. Razzlicious pioneered the concept of paying one price for yogurt regardless of what topping you choose to put on it. "Shannon and I both share a deep love for our community and we were excited when this oppor- tunity came about," Carelli said. "We recognized that Razzlicious is the perfect way for us to continue our passion of contributing to causes dear to us such as youth sports, Sober Grad programs, law enforcement and firefighters fundraising and more." Carelli is an attorney and former law enforcement professional in Shasta and Tehama counties. Ford was the manager of all six Raz- zlicious locations and has lived and worked in the North State for more than 20 years. The business has loca- tions in Red Bluff, Ander- son and Redding. CORNING CHAMBER Drug take back day set for Saturday A Redding company with Red Bluff branches has been recognized na- tionally for being among the best in the nation. Owens Healthcare is one of the 2016 Best Workplaces in Health Care, according to a na- tionwide ranking by the global research firm Great Place to Work and Fortune Magazine. Owens ranked 13th on the list based on em- ployees' assessments of the pride they take in their jobs, the camarade- rie they experience with coworkers and the trust they feel toward Owens' leaders. This year's Best Work- places in Health Care stand out for creating workplaces that employ- ees say make them feel good about what they do and close to their cowork- ers. Those feelings come despite employees work- ing in an industry un- der pressure to imple- ment new regulations, curb rising costs and ab- sorb technology advances while also caring for pa- tients. "At Owens Healthcare we're proud of how our employees work together to improve the health of the people we serve, and how they support each other," said John Friesen, CEO.
