4 The Lion's Share ADPI EXPERIENCES SUCCESS ON MANY LEVELS Academics, Membership, and Sisterhood Continue to Grow A lpha Delta Pi has been having quite the year. We are working harder than ever to raise our academic ranking, increase donations for our beloved philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), and raise our Chapter's standing on Oklahoma State's campus. ACADEMICALLY INCLINED We have been striving to increase our cumulative grade point average over the past few semesters, and this fall AO achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.1569. This is our second semester in a row to make a Chapter GPA of above pi (3.14), and we are continuously aiming to raise this number. SUPPORTING THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE This year, we started a new philanthropy event, Pi-zookie night at OSU, which we found to be very successful for its first year. The event was hosted at the Chapter house and raised more than $4,000 for RMHC in one night. Our second annual philanthropy event, Pop Tab 'N Drop It dance off, took place this spring. The event is a dance competition between members of different fraternities on Oklahoma State's campus. WELCOMING NEW ADPIS We had the opportunity to recruit nine new Alphas this semester to bring our Chapter to a total of 184 sisters. The Alphas are extremely excited to be joining our Chapter and can't wait to become sisters forever when they go through Diamond Days and initiation. GEARING UP FOR GREEK ACTIVITIES Fast approaching this semester is Spring Sing, and we are proud to announce that we are paired with Alpha Tau Omega and are hoping to deliver an amazing performance. ADPi has a great relationship with these men, as we participated in Homecoming with them in the fall, and are paired together for intramurals. Thank you to all of the alumnae who continuously support AO. Our Chapter would not be where it is today without you. I am so excited to see where our Chapter goes from here in the upcoming years.
