p. 3 Sigma Phi Epsilon I t has been an outstanding year for Sigma Phi Epsilon at Florida State University, and the men of Florida Epsilon continue to excel in all aspects of the Fraternity and campus life. Philanthropic Focus Boosts Chapter Morale Over the last year, our Chapter's commitment to philanthropy has been stronger than ever. We successfully revamped our philanthropic events to reduce overhead and increase profit for our beneficiaries at the Collegiate Veterans Asso- ciation (CVA). We also reinvented our Sweet Heart competition so that all participants are raising money for the CVA. Brothers have par- ticipated in other philanthropic organizations such as Dance Marathon, and it is required that all brothers participate in the event and raise at least $350. We are proud of our members' com- mitment to making a difference on campus and helping raise money for a good cause. Chapter Ranks High in Academics Brothers have dedicated a tremendous amount of time to academics through study groups, men- tors, and required study hours. We continue to boast one of the top GPAs on campus and achieve a higher average than the non-Greek population. Members Take the Court by Storm Florida Epsilon has dominated intramural sports over the last year and both our basketball and soc- cer teams remain undefeated. Campus involve- ment has significantly improved as well, and SigEp ranks first in number of members involved in student government and as University Ambas- sadors. Nathan Molina '16 was elected as stu- dent body president and we have confidence in his ability to lead the student population at FSU. Thank You, Alumni, for Making Our Chapter One of the Best In addition to all we've accomplished, we have built what I can confidently say is the best broth- erhood on campus. Nothing makes me happier than seeing lifelong bonds that have been facili- tated by our great Fraternity. On behalf of Florida Epsilon, I would like to express gratitude to our alumni. Without your continuous support, we would not be where we are today and wouldn't be able to provide our members the most fulfilling collegiate experi- ence. Because of your tireless dedication to our Chapter, we continue to build Balanced Men who are equipped with values and experiences to better themselves. If you are ever in the area, I encourage you to stop by the SigEp house and visit with brothers. We enjoy connecting with alumni, hearing stories from the past, and shar- ing visions for the future.
