reetings to all my SigEp Florida Nu brothers! I
hope that your 2016 has started exceptionally well,
and that you and yours will have a successful and
blessed year. 2015 was a year of rebuilding and realigning
with a resurgent Chapter that is looking to establish itself
once again as a leader on the FIU campus. Many great
things are being planned for this year for the Chapter and
our alumni.
2016 is a special year
in our young history.
This year marks our 30th
anniversary of Florida
Nu at FIU. We have a
celebration scheduled for
January 2017 and many
events scheduled for
this 2016 year, as listed
on page 4. Energy is
growing, and the future
of SigEp is bright.
Our role with this Chapter is unique compared to other SigEp
chapters across the nation, in that we the brothers of the '80s,
'90s, and the new millennium are the foundation of this
fraternity. The accomplishments of this Chapter throughout
the years are impressive considering our brief history,
compared to, say, the first Chapter at Richmond College in
1901. With the special and different role that we can play,
it is imperative that we get engaged in any way that will
elevate our Chapter, its value and reputation, and enhance
the sense of brotherhood we all share.
Be on the lookout for the more information from your SigEp
AVC for upcoming events as we look to build a great future
that many brothers will be able to benefit from.
