Stephanie Smith '96 moved to San Francisco
in January 2015 after 12 years in Washington,
D.C. to open her company's West Coast office.

Lynn Griffin Blake '98 experienced a sudden
cardiac arrest on February 14, 2007, at the age of
27. A woman that Lynn did not know and Ryan
Sutter from the Bachelorette performed CPR and
a defibrillator was used to shock and restart her
heart. Lynn is now helping to save others through
Starting Hearts, a non-profit that provides free
CPR/AED education and increases access to
defibrillators. Lynn and her husband, Matt, live
in Avon, Colo. with their, son Thomas. E-mail:

Amy Sparks DeVries '00 lives in Arlington,
Nebraska, with her husband, Nathan, son, Nyle
(5), and daughter Ashlyn (17 mo.). Amy owns a
private optometric practice where she employs
one other doctor and seven staff members. She
is an active member of Mother of Preschoolers
and serves as a discussion group leader, "I
treasure my memories from Texas Tech, and I am
thankful for all that I learned in Kappa as it has
helped me in the management of my practice."

Amy Lowery Riddle '02 started a jewelry
business from home after she had her first
child in 2013. Amy and her husband, Ryan,
are now parents to two children, Riley and

Midland, Texas. She runs her own custom boot
