W hen we look back at our own Epsilon Chapter experience, we can see how the friendships, leadership, and service—even decades ago—helped shape who we are today. We are thankful for our close friendships with ΔΓ sisters, for the leadership development that helped launch our careers, and for the numerous opportunities gained through Delta Gamma membership. We still remember, as we're sure you do, the great times we had together at the house and the memories we created. Today's Epsilon collegians maintain the same values and traditions today that you upheld while at The Ohio State University, and the Epsilon House Corporation has been working hard to strategically plan for the future of our chapter. Sisters, the future of Epsilon Chapter begins now. For the first time in our history, Epsilon Chapter will reach more than 200 members within the next year. Our growing numbers are a testament to the ever-increasing demand for the fraternal experience at Ohio State and the strength of our chapter. However, sleeping only 36 women and accommodating a chapter of 60 in community areas, our chapter house is woefully inadequate to house a chapter of our size. The OSU Second-Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP) requires all first- and second-year students to live on campus beginning in the 2016-17 academic school year. Epsilon Chapter must be able to house the entire sophomore class, as well as important junior and senior chapter leadership. As it stands, Epsilon has the smallest sleeping capacity among sororities on campus. Additionally, Ohio State continues to build new, state-of-the-art residence halls. Epsilon Chapter must be able to compete with the abundance of housing opportunities on campus. Given these immediate needs, the Epsilon Corporation Board is proud to announce the Anchoring a New Future for Epsilon capital campaign. Early commitments from generous alumnae, undergraduates, and friends total more than $428,000. We are proud of this fabulous start to the next chapter in Epsilon's history. Whether you are a member from the 1960s or 2000s, Epsilon needs your help now. This is the time to remember your Epsilon experience. Remember what an impact ΔΓ had on you, and think about how your life has been affected by your membership and your sisters. It is only through the lifelong bonds of Delta Gamma sisterhood that future generations may share the same experience. In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information detailing the project, the campaign, and ways in which you can help. We will be honored to have you join our growing list of loyal supporters who are leaving their legacy and providing for future generations. Thank you for your loyalty, consideration, and support of Delta Gamma. Go Bucks!
