Free tire collection event The Tehama County Sanitary Landfill Agency will conduct a Passenger Tire Collection Event 8-noon Satur- day, April 28 at the following locations: • Los Molinos Transfer Station; Aramayo Way • Rancho Tehama Transfer Station; corner of Stage Coach Rd at Rancho Tehama Road • Tehama County/Red Bluff Landfill; 19995 Plymire Road, Red Bluff The Agency encourages Tehama County residents to dispose of old tires during this event. Tires collected will be recycled into waste tire derived products. This free event will accept passenger tires from Tehama County residents only. There are restrictions to the event: • No more than 9 passenger car or light truck per trip. • No large truck tires, equipment tires, off-road tires • No tires larger than 17 inches Tractor rally planned for May Tractor and Engine Club is planning a 29-mile tractor ride through the orchards and back roads of Los Molinos and Red Bluff on May 19. Dave Siemens, owner microwaves, DVD/VCR players, cell phones, and other small electronic waste will be accepted free of charge only at the Los Molinos Transfer Station and the Rancho Tehama Transfer Station sites during the tire event. There is no quantity limit on e-waste accepted.
