Thank you. NEWS Theta Gamma Save the Date S ave the Date for the 14th Annual Art with a Heart event on February 27, 2016, at the OU Children's Hospital Atrium. If you are an out-of- town alumna, and planning a trip to Oklahoma City, this weekend is a great time to come. Support our wonderful art show and see your Tri Delta friends. Last year, in conjunction with Art with a Heart, our young artists at OU Children's Hospital created the Oklahoma ornaments, which were hung on the White House Christmas trees. Ronda Renner Roush '74 is the artist the governor invited to create our Oklahoma ornaments. Ronda, along with Kay Tangner '12, worked with our young artists to create beautiful ornaments. Kay and Kacey Glasscock Luster, OSU '92, traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in the hanging of these ornaments. The Tri Delta Trident magazine had a wonderful article about this project. She volunteers one day a week as an ambassador at Dallas/ Fort Worth airport and at the local police station. Sidney also just celebrated her first great-grandson's first birthday. This year, the Heritage Hall varsity squad won first place at the 5A state competition. Robin and her family reside in Edmond. Dr. Elena Willis Woodson '00 recently joined The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center in the Pediatric Otolaryngology Department. She is a fellowship-trained, board-certified pediatric otolaryngologist. Elena is also experienced in treating hearing loss and performs both cochlear and BAHA implants. E-mail: jewelsou@cox.net DHOP COntinues tO AttrACt CrOwD O nce again, Theta Gamma hosted a successful DHOP on October 3 at the chapter house. Tri Delta raised more $10,000, which will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help pay hospital bills, cancer research, and everyday expenses at the hospital. Nationally, Tri Delta had another record-breaking year, raising $7 million for St. Jude in the 2014-15 academic year. To date, Tri Delta has raised $12.5 million toward its $60 million pledge and has raised $40 million overall since our partnership with St. Jude began in 1999. Members ride a mechanical bull at DHOP. The event raised more than $10,000 for St. Jude. Undergraduates serve guests at DHOP. Sisters celebrate another successful DHOP on October 3.
