Epsilon Beta House Corporation Kappa Kappa Gamma 820 S. Monaco Pkwy., Suite 298 Denver, CO 80224 Address Service Requested T his April, we hosted the first "Kappa Konnections: It's a Key Affair" event, which was located at the trendy Fashion Design Center in Denver. The event had a great turnout with over 50 Epsilon Beta alumnae and active members in attendance. It was a fantastic opportunity for Epsilon Beta members to network with EB small business owners. The current Kappa Pickers led us in some of our favorite Kappa songs and everyone thoroughly enjoyed stopping by the photo booth to snap pictures with their sisters. The event would not have been possible without our EB small business owners, and we thank all who participated in having a booth. If any Epsilon Betas wish to be an exhibitor in the future, please contact kappakonnections@ gmail.com. We look forward to a new Epsilon Beta tradition and hope to continue this event for years to come! Connect with old classmates, new sisters in the Denver area, and actives to hear about current Epsilon Beta happenings. More details and the date of the event will follow. A mother of a University of Miami-Ohio Kappa bought the key, had its backing taken off, and had it put on a charm bracelet for her daughter, probably sometime between 1989 and 1995—at least ten years after it was lost at Convention. The daughter kept the charm bracelet for more than 20 years until she recently put it up for bid on e-Bay. Mary came to the rescue in July 2015 in her role as one of the Keepers and bought what turned out to be Tschudy's key. What a journey that key has had. Thanks to the "Keepers of the Key," Tschudy's badge is in her hands, just as she will receive her 50-year pin. Tschudy never thought she would get her old key back. What a turn of fate that its return happened during her 50th year as a Kappa. Could it be poetic justice that a long time Kappa volunteer is now the beneficiary of the quiet work of sisters she has never met? Congratulations to Tschudy, and thanks to the "Keepers of the Key!" The magic of our fraternity never ceases to amaze. Article written by Pam Maloney Wolf '81 50-Year Pin Unlocks the Key to a Mystery (Continued from page 6) e Kappa H t
