Epsilon Beta Chapter 4 Nadine Hough Murray '57 and her husband, Jack, own the Cloud Flower Protea Farm in Kula, Maui, Hawaii. They spend half the year there and the other half in Seattle or traveling. They visit CSU occasionally to meet old friends and will begin funding a visiting scholar this fall in the Honors College. Sally Meltzer Cole '58 joined in the fall of 1957 and after two years of college, she worked for an airline until marrying her husband, Robert. After her three children started school, she returned to college and graduated with honors. For 17 years, Sally worked as a teacher, but is now retired. She is actively involved in her church, St. John's Episcopal Church, and P.E.O. in New Braunfels, Texas. E-mail: cynthiarussell@att.net Jean Behse '59 has retired from teaching junior high science and home economics and is now living in Sonoma, Calif., wine country. She likes to travel for bicycle trips in Europe, Africa, and Mexico, as well as for skiing. In May, she traveled from Paris to Bruges. Jean is involved with Meals on Wheels, enjoys gardening, enjoys gourmet cooking, and leads a local bicycling group once a month. Sharon Glahn Niblock '59 is the Kappa Spokane alumnae president through 2016. She attended the Denver regional meeting in March 2014, where she was re-acquainted with Epsilon Beta actives and alumnae. Her husband's family has ties to Martha Louisa Lou Stevenson, a Kappa Kappa Gamma founder. Sharon does volunteer work in her free time. She and her husband are taking advantage of their free time by traveling, and in 2014 they ventured to Australia and New Zealand. She is currently hosting "The Silk Road" and "Mythic Creatures." Janet plays bridge with the Denver Kappa alumnae bridge group in her free time. Her previous careers include advertising, market research, writing and editing, but working at the museum has been the most rewarding. She serves on the advisery board for the International Quilt Study Center and Museum in Lincoln, Neb. She has a small business, India Adventures, organizing tours to India. Her and her husband lived in India from 1995-1998. She would love for her Kappa sisters to join her on one of their trips to India. She worked as a clinical social worker in Michigan, then Indiana, before settling in Colorado Springs in 1972. Teena Maierhofer Flanner '65 is semi-retired from 20 years of Teena Flanner Originals and designs for two import companies. She often travels to Reno and Tahoe to visit her kids and would like to travel to get away from Wisconsin winters. She enjoys the Milwaukee Kappa Kappa Gamma alumnae chapter. She has served as a trustee for the University of Wyoming, served on the Wyoming State Board of Education, and on local school boards. She enjoys time on MCREL International Board of Directors. Now, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Don, and has two children and three grandchildren. Traveling to Texas to visit grandchildren is always a highlight. She is involved in community activities such as bible studies and golf. Her daughter is in Florida and her son and his family live in Boulder, Colo. Cathy and her husband spend a lot of time visiting their kids and grandkids. When they are not doing do that, they enjoy going on cruises and golfing. Since her return to Houston, in 2011 she has been working with teen boys ages 13-16 in the juvenile program. With a small group of people, she treks out to the Leadership Academy for a 12-session program about making better choices. She finds great joy in working with young men. Sherry Holliman '70 lives in Lynchburg, Va., at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her daughter, Jenna, is in the 10th grade at a nearby boarding school, making straight As, and learning to drive. She is very proud of her time as the governor of the Rocky Mountain District of Kewanis. She serves a four-state area: Colorado, Wyoming, part of Nebraska, and New Mexico, where they have 3,000 members and 100 clubs. LeAnn and her husband, David, are part of a small group working for Hope West, a local hospice. The couple has four grandchildren and their son lives in Grand Junction with his family and her daughter, Kristen, is a Kappa who lives in California with her husband. They like skiing, biking, exercising, and swimming. They recently purchased property in Frisco, Colo., where they spend three to four days a week in the winter skiing.
