SigEp A PUBLICATION FOR ALUMNI OF MISSOURI ALPHA t SIGMA PHI EPSILON FALL 2015 Tiger Heart Inside: Alumnus Spotlight t 2 Loyal Alumni t 2-4 Academic Achievement t 3 Welcome, New Members t 4 Missouri Alpha Annual Giving Off to a Strong Start Your Donations Make Scholarships, Educational Space Updates Possible J ust a few short months since the launch of the 2015-16 Missouri Alpha annual giving program, our goal of $15,000 is in sight, based on early responses. Thanks to generous alumni support, one of the projects mentioned in our last fundraising letter has already been completed. The study areas on the second and third floors have been modified and refurbished. They are being put to use daily, enhancing academics. This improvement helps make 405 Kentucky a living/learning facility as well as a fantastic place to live. Thanks to the generosity of Brother Francis M. Webster Jr. '53, who surrendered a Missouri Alpha insurance policy purchased when he joined SigEp (and others who earmarked their contributions for the scholarship program), the Missouri Alpha Balanced Man Scholarship Fund is now in a position to award three Balanced Man Scholarships next semester: one each to a senior, junior, and sophomore who exemplify the SigEp Balanced Man ideal. The Missouri Alpha giving program is just beginning to pay dividends. With your donations, we will be able to do even more to support our undergraduate brothers. So far, we have raised $10,459 of our $15,000 goal, which means we still have $4,541 left to go. A big thanks for your generous support. Your gifts make a real and meaningful impact in the lives of SigEp brothers. SUPPORT MISSOURI ALPHA'S ANNUAL GIVING FUND M ake your gift online by visiting http://missourialpha.kintera.org.
