T he UF players bring it up all the time during interviews. McElwain has been mentioning it since his first meeting with the players back in January. Restore the order. Make Florida football what it once was— one of the elite programs in college football. Florida Alpha's rebuilding project is sharing that name. Restore the order. BRING FLORIDA ALPHA BACK TO THE TOP Make Florida Alpha and SigEp what it once was—one of the elite fraternities on the UF campus, and in the entire Greek Nation. It can happen for the Gators and it can happen for us if we work together to make it happen, and with the Balanced Man Program, make it even better. UPWARD MOMENTUM The Gators have tangible evidence that they are making progress in their mission to restore the order. Ole Miss learned that the hard way on October 3. Our evidence of progress is good, but not great. Support for the Campaign for Florida Alpha is improving, but we have a long way to go—and a short time frame to do it. GATOR STRONG Our shared projects with the Gators for rebuilding and restoring the order are far from over. The Gators and Florida Alpha still have a long way to go before order is restored and both of us are mentioned again with top programs. The Gator players have bought into it for UF football. All of us need to buy into it for Florida Alpha. DECEMBER 15 DEADLINE Our architects and planners tell us that we need to know by December 15 if we are going to move forward or have to scale back from our $3.3 million plan for renovating the house at 5 Fraternity Row to make it one of the best on campus. Contributions have picked up in the last month, but we are still far short of our $3.3 million goal. Our ritual at one point calls for us to "drink deeply," but right now we need to "dig deeply" into our hearts and souls and our pocket books and send a check or a pledge to the Campaign for Florida Alpha. BACK TO DOMINANCE Restoring the order can only happen if we work together. Gator defensive end Alex McCalister put it this way: "We're the Gators. It's supposed to be like this. We've got to the get back to that dominance. We've got to get back to how it used to be." As alumni brothers of Florida Alpha, let us put it this way: "We're SigEps. We're Florida Alpha. It's supposed to be like this. We have got to get back to that dominance. We've got to get back to how it used to be."
