Page 2 SigEp Gator Heart "Given that Florida Alpha was key in providing me with the foundations on which I have built a meaningful and successful professional career, community involvement, and family life, I can only hope that all of our brothers will also appreciate their good fortune and also will be as generous as possible in being part of a reinvigorated Florida Alpha with a Chapter House that all of us will remain proud to visit again in the years ahead." Bob Hudson '68 "When my family moved from California to Brevard County less than a month before school started in the fall of 1963, I left all my friends behind. I didn't even know where Gainesville was. (I had applied to Florida as a throwaway choice because my high school baseball coach went to UF.) When I rushed in September and pledged in January 1964, the SigEp brothers and my pledge class formed the basis for the lasting friendships that made my transition to college life easy and enjoyable. That experience was invaluable to me and I want to give back so that other young men will have the benefit of the same relationships I was able to attain at the SigEp house. We have to do what we can to keep SigEp on campus at UF." Bob Mead '67 John Hume '66 In memory of Dave Hendon Jr. '50 Fred Pounds '69 Thomas DiMarino '75 In memory of R. My gift is to honor all those brothers and little sisters who made being a Gator so awesome! I hope to see many of you at a future football game!" Paul Demick '78 "We grew up with two older brothers, but when we both joined SigEp, we instantly had thousands more. The values, principles, and all that we were a part of will stay with us forever. We will never be able to do for the Fraternity what it did for us. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to give back to the home that gave us so much."
