W e at Alpha Omega have come a long way! I hope you are as thrilled as I am with our beautifully renovated home that is now occupied by an outstanding group of Alpha Omega undergraduates. Thanks to the generosity of many alumni, we now have an outstanding house to go with our outstanding membership. The live-in members we welcomed back in August were amazed by the recent updates—a product of Phases IV and V of our construction schedule. The second-floor bedrooms and suite- style living areas were completed, as well as the kitchen and dining room. While the combined renovations and efforts of the last several years are quite amazing, we were forced to pull back the scope of the overall project due to finances. Where Does the Campaign Stand? The generosity of 277 alumni has given us more than $2.82 million in written commitments, but we are now looking to the 2,000+ alumni who have not yet come forward with their support. We understand the many requests people receive throughout the year, and the necessary expenses each household faces, which is why we are so grateful for those who do choose to consider Alpha Omega among their giving. The Tau Mansion was an iconic part of every member's collegiate years, and we are asking our Brothers to commemorate its significance with a donation toward the campaign. The bottom line is this: the campaign continues and we need your help. On its face, the project would appear done because the construction teams are gone. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Your Gift WILL Make a Difference The Chapter now has the burden of a $2.5 million mortgage, a necessary investment in order to take the renovation as far as we did. With just over 11% participation, we need many more of our alumni to get on board to help close out this deficit. If you have not contributed, please do so immediately.
