Alpha Delta Pi 5 but became a part of the Jayhawk family while pursuing her master's degree at KU. Although she has worked in many different careers, she believes her new position at ADP has by far been the most fun. Having been a dual- career woman most of her life, Lisa understands the busy schedules of undergraduate women and is ready to be there as a support system. Family is very important to Lisa, who has one daughter, Lauren, and one son, Collin. Collin is a musical theatre actor living in New York City. Lauren and her husband, Michael, live in Overland Park with their two-and-a-half- year-old daughter, Daphne, who loves her grandmother's "big, new house." Spending time with her new Alpha Delta Pi family has been a joy to Lisa. "The very first night, about 10 members gathered in my room to chat, share, laugh, eat candy, and just hang out," Lisa said, "The women make me feel special and welcome. Being a mom to so many just feels right," Lisa said. Though she has only been a part of Tau Chapter for a short while, Lisa already feels as if she has lived there a long time. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, as well as socializing with friends, going to concerts and festivals, traveling, and watching all of her favorite sports teams.
