our ChapTer house:
Why It Matters
W
hat are your favorite memories of the Chapter
House? Attending Chapter meetings, porch
parties, tailgating before a Buckeyes home
game, Chapter dinners, or spending time with brothers and
friends? Our Chapter House undoubtedly provided the
environment for the development of our brotherhood, was
a focal point of our shared experiences, and was a home for
alumni to return to and share stories with new generations.
We must ensure our future brothers have a chance to form
their own great memories. The present Chapter House no
longer meets the needs of our members or the expectations
of Ohio State; it is more than 60 years old and must be
replaced to offer Theta Delta a premier fraternity and
living experience.
"As founding fathers we have received an opportunity unlike any other to rebuild Beta Theta Pi at
Ohio State. We look forward to the upcoming experiences and challenges that will accompany this
opportunity. A new house would be an incredible foundation for Theta Delta. In addition to giving us
a home, it will benefit the development of the lifelong friendships and brotherhood we were all in search
of when we chose Beta."
-Daniel T. Grainger '16, Colony President
