efore we even considered a plan for the Chapter
House, we knew that to bring Theta Delta back to
Ohio State we needed to provide an experience for
the new members which would instill the core values and
principles of the Fraternity. Our recolonization efforts have
focused on clearly outlining the vision, mission and goals
of our new members and building a solid advisory board to
keep them focused and motivated.

VISION, MISSION, AND
GOALS OF THETA DELTA
VISION: The Theta Delta Chapter at The Ohio
State University will be the exemplary standard
for all fraternities on the campus.
MISSION: The Theta Delta Chapter shall
exhibit high achievement in scholastics, athletics,
and campus leadership by attracting, retaining,
and developing young men of principle and
character at The Ohio State University.
GOALS: The Theta Delta Chapter shall…
H Provide a structure and guidance system to
allow the members to self-govern,
attain academic excellence, participate
in leadership development, develop
high moral standards and create lifelong
friendships.
H Hold members accountable to fulfill their
commitment to the Seven Obligations as
defined in the Ritual of Beta Theta Pi
Fraternity.
H Strategically recruit young leaders who
will embrace the positive culture of the
Chapter and who will attract similar-
minded men.
H Maintain consistent, open and honest
communications with the alumni and
university stakeholders.
