T
he Theta Delta Chapter and The Ohio State
University share a storied tradition dating back
to 1885. From our founding to today, our proud
history speaks for itself through the 2,400 men we proudly
call our brothers: campus leaders, athletes, and professional
titans in a variety of industries.
Through Beta we learned the importance of friendship,
trust, service, and excellence. We acquired leadership,
organizational and people skills, teamwork, integrity,
and principled living. Oftentimes, these traits have been
integral to our personal success and helped make us the
men we are today. Many of our best college memories are
related to or a result of our Beta experience.
Most of us can trace the roots of our success to one place:
165 E. 15th Avenue. Our Chapter House was clearly the
focus of undergraduate life for Beta Theta Pi. It was a home
away from home since the 1950s for hundreds of young
men and a classroom where our brothers have learned
cooperation, a sense of community, leadership skills, and
the values that guide our lives today.
As we return Beta to Ohio State's campus, we must
provide a safe, modern, and competitive facility for our
brothers to realize their potential. Now is the time to
secure our future and return to our principles with The
Campaign for Theta Delta.
