Alumnae News Chapter Eternal Betty Hawkins Caudill '50 passed away on Sept. 7, 2006. Susan Zorsch '89 passed away on January 7. She was an accomplished humanitarian, devoting much of her time to the Mizzou Alumni Association; a former leadership executive committee member of the Griffiths Leadership Society for Women; and held numerous roles with her beloved Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity, including serving for over a decade as Panhellenic and Recruitment District Director. Alumnae News Mary Lou Ownby Anson '44 recently celebrated her 90th birthday and the birth of her seventh great-grandchild. She also has seven grandchildren. She stays in touch with pledge sisters Beverly Pattes Nix '44 and Nancy Whitnell Harris '44. Jackie Britt Eggers '50 and her husband, Wally, celebrated 64 years of marriage in June. They have a home in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas for the winter and spend the summer in Kansas City, Kan. "One of my Theta sisters got me and Wally together on a blind date in 1950!" Email: kcconch@yahoo.com. Marilyn Mason Haston '52 has three children. She has been widowed for 10 years, after 52 years of marriage, and is now engaged to be married in the fall. She spends winter in Florida, summer in Alaska, and the rest of the year in Overland Park, Kan. Susan Mitchell Callis '53 is great friends with other sisters in the '55, '56, and '57 classes who write annual letters to each other. They have been writing since 1957! Donna Pascoe Pohl '65 and her husband, Bob (Phi Gamma Delta), are planning to move to Colorado this year. Bob will continue his law practice with their son, Tom, in Avon, Colo. After seven weeks of retirement, she was terribly bored and began working for the Kansas City Public School District. She is looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild, a boy.
