DELTA TAU DELTA Page 2 up with his brother on an opportunity within the railroad industry and founded Quiet Zone Technologies, LLC. They ran the business for five years until selling it in 2015. In late 2014, Will decided to embrace an opportunity to grow a new business, RCL Track Services, LLC. The company specializes in the removal and sale of replacement rail for the Class 1 railroads. He oversees all day-to-day operations and the execution and fulfillment of the strategic objectives of the company as COO/AVP of Operations. Will believes that he would not be where he is today if it wasn't for, as he says, "the many failures that litter his past." His advice to undergraduates is to embrace failure and ask, "What did I learn; how could I have looked at that differently?" He also advises undergraduates to enjoy their time in college, but to remember what they're there for. "Enjoy the moments, but don't be consumed by them; remember that it's just a blink of an eye in terms of your life," he says. "What you do beyond [college] is what's going to matter; [college] sets the foundation. School and chapter experiences are vital, but [fraternity life] isn't everything. You're there to graduate and then move on with the next step in your life, but those experiences will set the tone for every day after." Will and his wife, Roques Ann, live in Benbrook, Texas, with their 3-year-old son, Jack. In his free time, Will loves to golf and spend time with Jack. He stays in touch with many brothers through social media, but says not to lose the value of a good phone call. Given the draw of Aggie football for all A&M alumni, he thinks the chapter tailgates are a great way for brothers to reconnect to the chapter. Will can be reached through LinkedIn or Facebook. In the spring, we welcomed a well-rounded class of new members to the chapter, and we said farewell to our seniors. The entire chapter is preparing for another year to grow and influence those around us in the College Station area. Recruitment has been in full swing as we work to garner another group of the best young men to be new members of Zeta Sigma. We work to maintain our status as one of the best chapters on campus. We continue to thrive academically as we maintain position as one of the top three chapters within IFC, which has been the status for the past five semesters. Along with excellence in recruitment and academics, we have two philanthropy events a s e m e s t e r , i n c l u d i n g a s a n d v o l l e y b a l l tournament, fundraising for and attending the JDRF walk, as well as hosting profit shares within the community. We also encourage alumni to come back to the Shelter to visit or meet the active brothers of Zeta Sigma. We are planning a tailgate for alumni to visit and enjoy the football season in the glorious new stadium, as well as an alumni luncheon at the Shelter in the spring. The chapter would love to see the support of all alumni capable of making the trip for these events. It looks to be another great year for the men of Zeta Sigma as we move forward with advancing the greatness of Delta Tau Delta at Texas A&M.
