Phi Mu Fraternity at Ole Miss 3 Alpha Delta Wins M3 Campaign Chapter Raises $13,510 for Children's Miracle Network, Maintains 3.16 GPA A lpha Delta experienced a successful spring semester! Our Chapter maintained a 3.16 GPA, exceeding the all-Greek and all-sorority averages. Our academic chairman gave out Phi Mu tumblers as small rewards for members who received good grades. For all of March, Phi Mu chapters across the nation participated in the M3 Campaign to raise money for the Phi Mu Foundation. The money went toward scholarships and aid for Phi Mu members in need. Each active Alpha Delta donated $18.52 and reached out to alumnae to donate in Alpha Delta's name. After a month of hard work, Alpha Delta pleced first out of all the chapters for raising the most money, a total of $11,078. In April, Alpha Delta held our third annual Bonnamu, a battle of the bands for the fraternities. Ole Miss wide receiver Lacquon Treadwell, Miss Mississippi USA Courtney Byrd, and Le Bonheur representative Kelly Scott judged the men as they performed their sets. We raised $13,510 for the Children's Miracle Network, specifically Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. Our Chapter is excited for another fall semester. We would like to thank all of our alumnae for their support and encouragement. Please join us as we welcome our newest members! If you have volunteered to work during recruitment week, you will be receiving an e-mail detailing the rules for the week. Remember, if you have a daughter going through recruitment, you are not allowed to be in the house during the scheduled parties. However, you can help with the preparations for the next party after hours. Love in Our Bond, Debbie Smith Myers, Epsilon Delta '74 Membership Adviser debramyers4@gmail.com Recruitment Ready Phi Mu Excited for New Members A lpha Delta is ready and excited to welcome a new pledge class this fall. After a successful recruitment in 2014, we look forward to making this year's recruitment just as successful, if not more. Our recruitment workshop, which started August 17, kicked things into gear as we came together for a week to learn, practice, and have fun. This year's recruitment takes place September 27-October 4, and we will work hard until then. Enrollment at Ole Miss continues to grow each year, resulting in more and more women coming through our doors during recruitment. Exceeding numbers in recruitment registration means potentially larger quota numbers for all the chapters on campus. We are also excited to welcome Alpha Phi to the Ole Miss Greek community and can't wait to see their new chapter have a successful recruitment. With six days of recruitment to go through, we have a long but rewarding week ahead of us. All of the hard work and preparation will be worth it when our new Phis finally run home. We cannot wait to add more amazing women to our Chapter. Love in Our Bond, Madison Heil '13 Recruitment Chairman alphadelta.recruitment@gmail.com
