In 2005 a family mem- ber discovered Fzaio on the Megan's Law website and was unaware he was a convicted sex offender. This family member then contacted the victims who denied anything inappropriate at that time. In 2009 the two vic- tims revealed they had been molested by the defendant and reported it to law enforcement. During questioning defendant admitted to molesting the two victims on several occasions and stated that he finds young girls sexually attractive. • Robert Ray Harrison was sentenced to eight years in state prison for battery with serious bodily injury, vandalism under $400 damage, resist, obstruct, delay of peace officer or EMT, interference with a wireless com- munication device, battery: sim- ple. Harrison and victim's hus- band began arguing over living arrangements which then esca- lated into a fight. When the vic- tim attempted to intervene Harri- son punched her in the face sev- eral times causing a broken nose and a concussion. The grand- mother of the victim attempted to call police but Harrison slapped the phone out of her hand. As the victim and her fam- ily retreated into their house Har- rison began throwing rocks and breaking out the windows. • David Nichols Garcia was sentenced to six years in state prison for two counts second degree robbery. Garcia entered a local shoe store and held a knife to the employee's throat and demanded she open the safe. As the defen- dant was taking the money from the safe the employee hit the panic alarm button and Garcia fled. A couple days after this incident Garcia entered another local business and again put a knife to the employee's throat demanding she open the register. Defendant took the cash and fled. After an investigation detectives were able to identify and locate Garcia. When ques- tioned Garcia denied knowing anything about the robbery's and became very agitated. After fur- ther questioning Garcia jumped out of his chair and began attack- ing the officer's. After several officer's fought to gain control of Garcia, he was restrained and taken into custody. • Jose Guadalupe Ramos also known as Guadlupe Ramos, was sentenced to six years in state prison for possession for sale of a controlled substance with three special allegations. Agents were advised by a confidential informant that Ramos was involved in drug sales. When agents conducted a traffic stop on two individuals associated with Ramos t h e y located a total of 9 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle. Agents went to the home of the driver of this vehicle and after he consented to a search of his resi- dence agents located 225.8 grams of methamphetamine as well as indicia and property belonging to Ramos. • Dustin Harold Souza was sentenced to five years in state prison for petty theft with a prior, two counts of special allegation. Red Bluff Police Department received a call of a suspicious person in the backyard of the reporting party. Officer's obtained a vehicle description of the vehicle where Souza was a passenger. As officer's respond- ed to the area they located a vehi- cle matching the description and conducted a traffic stop. Officer's observed a wet tire iron on the floorboard between Souza's legs. The reporting party and victim show up and identify Souza as the suspicious person. Upon a search of victim's vehicle she stated she is missing two tires. The driver in the vehicle with the passenger admitted Souza entered his car with the tire iron. • Jonathan Ryan Callahan was sentenced to four years in state prison for evading an officer, willful disregard with special allegation. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Callahan. As the officer exited his patrol vehicle Callahan sped away. Officers then pursued Callahan until they lost sight of his vehicle. Upon a search of the area a citizen advised police that they had spotted the vehicle in an alley. As officers arrived at this location they located Callahan and ordered him to the ground. Callahan struggled and tried to pull away from officers but was eventually taken into c u s - tody. Callahan admitted to flee- ing because he was on parole and did not have a driver's license. • David Lyn Pot was sen- tenced to three years in state prison for petty theft with a prior. Pot entered a local grocery store and loaded his cart full of groceries and then left without paying for the items. Police located Pot a short distance from the store and, after a brief strug- gle, took him into custody. Upon searching Pot officers located a folding buck knife with a three inch blade. • Heriberto Talavera was sen- tenced to three years in state prison for possession for sale of a controlled substance and trans- portation of a controlled sub- stance. Agents were advised by a confidential informant that Talavera was involved in drug sales. Agents conducted a traf- fic stop on a vehicle in which Talavera was a passenger. Upon a search of the vehicle agents located a total of 9 grams of methamphetamine. Agents went to the home of the driver of this vehicle and after he consented to a search of his residence agents located 225.8 grams of methamphetamine as well as indicia and property belonging to Talavera. • Tammy Lynn Sackett-Max- ham was sentenced to three years, eight months in the Cali- fornia Rehabilitation Center for three counts sale of a controlled substance possession for sale of a controlled substance During an undercover drug buy agents used a confidential informant to purchase metham- phetamine from Sackett-Max- ham three times in the same day. Agents served a search warrant at defendant's home where they located a police scanner, numer- ous bindles of methampheta- mine, marijuana, glass smoking pipes and digital scales. At first defendant denied selling drugs but then admitted after being confronted about the undercover buys. Recent County Jail Commit- ments: • James Michael Bellino was sentenced to 365 days in Tehama County Jail for assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury Bellino was originally granted formal probation. He violated his probation when he failed to report to his probation officer, failed to pay court ordered fines as well as failing to enroll in and complete the Alternatives to Vio- lence program. • Brian Douglas Saul was sen- tenced to 270 days in Tehama County Jail for possession for sale of a controlled substance. During an undercover drug buy Saul sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant. Upon a search of Saul's home agents located 23.8 grams of marijuana in a Tupperware con- tainer, a baggy containing 2.8 grams of marijuana and two bro- ken methamphetamine pipes. • Saul Tapia Mendoza was sentenced to 211 days in Tehama County Jail for leaving the scene of an accident. Mendoza was originally granted formal probation. He violated his probation when he failed to obey all laws after he got into a fight and ran after offi- cer's ordered him to stop. Men- doza was later apprehended. • Lisa Jaylynn Hubbell was sentenced to 180 days in Tehama County Jail for perjury by false affirmation for aid. Hubbell was on welfare and only reported her and her four children lived in her home. When investigator's contacted her they determined her husband was also living in her home and earning an income and unem- ployment benefits. Hubbell's over payment in cash aid and food stamps totaled $40,120. COURT ROUND-UP
