bright lights and take 8mm movies at
fraternity parties and other events between
1962 and 1966. He has put together a one
hour and 15-minute DVD with background
music of the times, which is now available
for any interested brothers.

he plaque pictured here will reside in
the SigEp house, in the room adjacent to
the library. This memorial board honors the
memory of deceased Texas Alpha brothers—
nearly 500 to date. Many thanks to Bruce
Anderson '72 for his efforts in designing this
fitting tribute supported by alumni Skull &
Crossbones Society contributions.

Mark A. Kiester '71 was recognized last fall as CEO of the Year by Greenlights, an association of
not-for-profit organizations in Austin. In May 2015 he received the Legacy Leadership Award from
the Central Texas After School Network, an association of out-of-school-time providers in Travis
County. Texas Education Agency Commissioner, Brother Michael Williams '70, was present at the
