Dear
Theta
Sisters,
From
our
founding
one
hundred
years
ago
to
the
present,
we
have
pursued
and
attained
high
levels
of
academic
achievement,
and
leadership
positions
in
virtually
every
aspect
of
student
life
at
the
University
of
Missouri.
With
more
than
2,700
initiates,
the
Alpha
Mu
Chapter
has
influenced
the
lives
of
numerous
women,
cultivating
lasting
friendships
in
the
process.
If
you
are
like
me,
you
can
trace
many
of
your
best
memories
back
to
your
Kappa
Alpha
Theta
experience.
More
than
ever,
sororities
play
a
significant
role
in
the
development
of
young
women,
and
this
growth
is
crucial
in
today's
competitive
world.
In
addition
to
the
values
taught
by
our
sisterhood,
other
assets
we
acquired
from
Theta
membership
include
leadership,
organizational,
and
social
skills
(although
my
family
is
waiting
on
this
last
one
to
really
kick
in).
These
traits
are
integral
to
our
personal
success
and
help
make
us
the
women
we
are
today.
Enjoying
a
past
filled
with
rich
tradition
and
history,
Alpha
Mu
continues
to
excel.
As
alumnae,
we
have
been
entrusted
with
perpetuating
this
tradition
of
excellence
for
the
next
generation.
It
is
our
collective
responsibility
to
provide
future
members
a
safe,
competitive
and
quality
home
at
the
University
of
Missouri.
With
our
past
and
present
secure,
we
look
ahead
to
the
next
100
years.
The
following
pages
detail
an
ambitious
project
to
renovate
and
upgrade
our
home
at
603
Kentucky.
This
project
will
allow
Kappa
Alpha
Theta
to
continue
touching
lives
in
the
same
way
it
touched
yours
and
mine.
