A rider can choose to begin the cloverleaf pattern to the right or left. The time begins when the horse and rider cross the predetermined start line and stops when they come back across the same line. Each run is timed to the hundredths of a second, making every fraction of a second count. Each tipped- over barrel adds a five-second penalty to the time. Although barrel racing is one of seven events common to most PRCA-sanctioned rodeos, it is administered by the Women's Professional Rodeo Association. 2014 World Champ 2015 Money Leader 2014 Round-Up Nancy Hunter qual- ified for her first WNFR in 2014. In 2015 she's looking to build off that sucess. She had a strong show- ing in Houston at the Super Series Championship. Fallon Taylor won her first world title in her sixth attempt in 2014. Taylor won a tight competition by holding off Lisa Lockhart for the cham- pionship. Carlee Piercewon the 2014 Red Bluff Round- Up as well as placing as co-champion at the Wranglers Champions Challenge in Redding. Pierce went on to qualify for her third WNFR.
