ByJohnHickey BayAreaNewsGroup HOUSTON The Oakland A's still have yet to see the Ken- dall Graveman they saw in spring training, but one thing has changed. He has his first big-league victory after help- ing the A's to a 4-0 win against Houston on Tuesday. Graveman, who had the ma- jor league's best ERA in spring training at 0.36 and who only put 19 men on base in 25 1/3 Cactus League innings, strug- gled with his control all night. By making big pitches when he needed to, however, he gave the A's 5 1/3 innings and left with a 3-0 lead. The 24-year-old right- hander walked four, gave up four hits and only had one clean inning. But the Astros only got one man to third base against him, and he rose to the occasion after singles from Luis Valbuena and Jason Cas- tro in the fourth with Oakland holding a 1-0 lead. A pop fly from Colby Ras- mus kept the tying run stuck at third base, and Jake Maris- nick grounded out with Grave- man having dodged the bullet. From that point he began to rally.
