When Denise came to Tech, Gamma
Xi immediately stood out to her during
recruitment. "They showed a genuine
friendliness and interest in me. No other
sorority stood out like Delta Gamma. Joining
was one of the best decisions I have ever
made." She believes that if she hadn't been a
DG that she would have missed out on many
precious experiences and relationships.
The Gamma Xi campaign will ensure that
Delta Gamma continues the tradition of
excellence at Texas Tech for generations.
Denise believes the lodge should be a reflection
of the character and quality of young women,
past and present, who inhabit it. The new lodge
will reflect Delta Gamma's high standards for
study, leadership, and service. Each alumna is
a part of Gamma Xi, and Gamma Xi is a part
of each of us. With each alumna's support, our
connection to the chapter and to each other
is strengthened while benefitting the future
women of Delta Gamma.
Denise lives in Lubbock, Texas, with her
husband, Robert. She has held many positions
in the Lubbock alumnae group and enjoys
