E-mail: alexrenaud5@gmail.com Alec Ibach '11 Selected for 2014 Power of Seven S elected from an outstanding pool of undergraduate applicants, seven men, including Alec Ibach '11, were chosen for their involvement in FarmHouse, academic performance, outstanding achievements in and out of the classroom, volunteerism and the explanation of why they'd like to be a part of the Power of Seven seminar. Each of the brothers was sponsored by a Second 7 alumnus who covered all of their expenses to attend and mentored them throughout the weekend. The Power of Seven seminar was held April 25-27, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. This award-winning seminar brings together a world-class group of FarmHouse alumni, volunteers and leaders to discuss the issues facing business, agriculture and industry. AWARDS AND HONORS ALUMNI UPDATE (Continued from page 5) Black Masque Chapter of Mortar Board Brennan Costello '12, Ryan Drvol '13, Chase Gorham '13, Tanner Gosda '13, and Tanner Hannappel '13 were all tapped into the Black Masque Chapter of Mortar Board. Mortar Board is a comprehensive honor society that selects first-rate members who exemplify the ideals of scholarship, leadership and service. With their tapping, FarmHouse has had a member in either Mortar Board or the Innocents Society for 48 consecutive years. College of Engineering Jake Meyer '13 was elected Senator for the College of Engineering in the recent ASUN (Association of Students of the University of Nebraska) elections. College of Arts and Sciences Nick Devine '14 was elected Senator for the College of Arts and Sciences in the recent ASUN (Association of Students of the University of Nebraska) elections. Scholarship Recipient Jon Freese '14 was selected as the recipient of the Innocents Society Memorial Freshman Scholarship and was selected as the Mortar Board National Honor Society Freshman Notable Person.
