FARMHOUSE FRATERNITY 2 • Contributing 2,500 hours of community service to the Lincoln community by chapter members. (To date, more than 2,525 hours have been completed.) In fulfilling all sanctions with the university in a timely manner, the chapter may be reinstated in recognized good standing and removed from suspension by the UNL administration as early as fall 2015. It is the chapter, association, and International Fraternity's intention to achieve this goal. This has been an especially trying time for our organization, which has enjoyed a track record at UNL that is unprecedented. As we turn the corner on this tragedy, we ask for your support of the chapter. Our members have actively performed against a self-governed action plan and the university-imposed sanctions. As alumni, we can support the chapter by: • Referring prospective members for recruitment purposes. • Sharing your time to serve in volunteer leadership roles as called upon to do so. • Attending alumni events and chapter open houses when invitations are extended. • And, generously supporting the effort to build a new home for FarmHouse (see article by Ryan Downs '88 that starts on the front page.) We know that with support from the International Fraternity, UNL administration, and our dedicated alumni, FarmHouse will remain the preeminent fraternity at the University of Nebraska. Our undergraduate members are ready for the challenge and it is our job, as alumni, to support them in whatever way we can. As we collectively move forward, we are reminded of the words of The Object, in that progress shall mark our every step. We thank you, our alumni brothers, for your support toward such progress. Fraternally, Steve Gangwish '01 President, FarmHouse Alumni Association sjgangwish@gmail.com (402) 480-4520 Fraternity Leadership Looks to the Future (Continued from page 1) Alumni Reconnect at Homecoming Event Classic golf tournament at HiMark Golf Course and a tailgating event before cheering on the Huskers to a 45-15 victory against the Fighting Illini. It was a great weekend for all. At the tailgate, an announcement concerning the Nebraska Chapter's future was presented to all in attendance. Our chapter house at 3601 Apple Street has been part of FarmHouse's legacy for almost 65 years and has reached its useful end. It is important that we stay on par with the facilities that other fraternities are offering—AGR is one of three chapters with a brand new facility and most other chapters, including SigEp and Beta, have all substantially upgraded their houses as well. Accordingly, the Nebraska FarmHouse Association is proud to announce The Next Hundred Years of Building Men campaign to secure our continued success at UNL. Over the next few months, you will receive more communication about details to build a new house, funding plans, and a capital campaign that has already raised over $2.35 million—and how you can be involved with this once-in-a- lifetime effort. As we work to propel our great fraternity into the 21st century, we will need everyone's help. Fraternally, Ryan D. Downs '88 Campaign Chairman ryan@ryandowns.net (402) 505-7779 The Young Drvol golf team at the 2014 Homecoming events: Brett Drvol '04, Luke Drvol '06, Alex Drvol '08, and Ryan Drvol '13.
