Alameda is an island across the San Francisco Bay. "The town in many ways reminds me of Lawrence in the '30s and '40s when I was growing up there," Claudia said. She is an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, Retired Public Employees Association, AAUW, AARP, and other local organizations. Claudia also has season tickets to the San Francisco Symphony.
