Delta Delta Delta page 5 Elizabeth Carter Kahlmus '43 is active in Trinity Presbyterian Church, where she serves as historian and nominating committee chairman. She belongs to two literary clubs and drives once a month for Meals on Wheels. Elizabeth shares that she loves Tri Delta and is proud of all Delta Mu does. Mary Mahaffie Dunn '45 now lives in an independent living retirement village in Lawrenceville, Ga., called Garden Playa. E-mail: sallyculver@bellsouth.net Tay Duffy Frankenberger '54 lives in Mobile, Ala., and has two daughters, Laura Towey Pritchett '75 and Sheila Towey Gray '80, also Tri Deltas at Alabama. Mary "Prissy" Dunson Terrell '58 lives in Guntersville and is active in local organizations, especially those related to gardening. She is the president of Hosta Society of North Alabama, a member of Northern Alabama Daylily Society, and president of the Guntersville-Albertville Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter. Prissy's garden is on tour every summer. E-mail: linda@yourcpa.biz Kay Kennedy Mitchell '65 is a college professor of English and a professional painter. She has a busy, meaningful life that she loves in Pensacola, Fla. She loves to garden, sing in her church choir, read, write, and spend time with family and friends. Her family has a home in Costa Rica where they love to spend time. E-mail: chill5250@charter.net Winifred Wells Dowdle '73 is working on a partnership with the Rosemary Beach Foundation where they are in their third year of a program called Music in Pictures, which allows children in her county of Walton, Fla., to listen to classical music and paint a visual interpretation of the musical piece. This year they have been awarded a grant from the state of Florida/Department of Cultural Affairs for expanding educational opportunities in the 19 participating schools. She brought a group of 1977 Tri Deltas when they practiced the skit for recruitment last year. They were all impressed with the set, costumes, but most of all the talent of the performers. Afterward, they toured the house and in every room Tri Deltas were friendly, talkative, and perfect hostesses in their new home! She and her husband, Louis, reside in Birmingham, Ala. She was president the first year they had a house on campus. The project has sold 21 plaster guitars to area sponsors.
