PRIDE IN OUR PAST, SECURING OUR FUTURE 3 The Future Looks Bright for Beta Eta Tekes B eta Eta Tekes had a great fall semester and are ready to take on all that the spring has in store. At Homecoming we had an opportunity to see designs for the new Chapter House, and members are energized by plans for the future. We're grateful to our devoted alumni for investing in our Chapter and can't wait for the day when we come back to visit and hang out in the new house. For the second time in a row our Chapter has won the TKE Nation Tournament (TNT), becoming the first chapter to ever win back-to-back. This was a great victory for Beta Eta and shows how strong our Chapter is. To learn more about this social media fundraising campaign, visit http://www. tke.org/tnt. With the new officers and committee heads in place, the brothers have set academic, philanthropy, and recruitment goals. We hope to make great strides in academics to compete with other fraternities on campus. Our big philanthropy event, TKE Taco Night, is scheduled and we have plans to match or surpass the amount raised from previous semesters. With a new house in the works, we recognize that will come with quite a bit more expense. Our goal is to offset some of that cost with better recruiting. Spring recruitment is beginning to gear up, and we're looking forward to the trend of growth we've seen the last few years. We hope the prospect of a new house will draw in bigger numbers. If any alumni would like to help or have sons coming to Rolla, please contact me or the recruitment chairman, and we will do all that we can to show them the benefits of joining TKE. In the fall nine new members joined our great fraternity, and we have our sights set on higher numbers this spring semester.
