Join us for pizza, beer and arcade games in the upstairs section of Firehouse Pizza (734 Main Street, Red Bluff). Our social events are a fun way to network and relax after the work day with others dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Tehama County. While NEXT Tehama is touted as a young profes- sionals' group, both "young" and "professional" are determined by spirit and attitude. The group empha- sizes creative thinking and the importance of fun in establishing effective networks for service. The group meets monthly on the first Wednesday at various hotspots in the community. To be kept informed on NEXT Tehama's events and activities, find the group on Facebook at Next Tehama or email Amanda Wigno at awigno@ncen.org to be added to the email list. Instead of just sniffing out drugs RBPD's new dog will be trained to: • Capture violent criminals • Help in the search for persons who are lost • Prevent possible violent encounters with people • Locate guns, or drugs, thrown or hidden by criminals • Search build- ings and land covered by thick vegetation for burglary suspects who hide from the police • Give children positive experiences with police by demonstrating the dogs skills.
