H o n o r i n g t h e Pa s t , Bu il d i n g t h e F u t u r e Restoring the Chi Psi Tradition at Ole Miss MORE THAN $1 MILLION RAISED As we approach the end of the year, we have exciting news! Alpha Gamma has surpassed $1 million in pledges and gifts, and we are very close to our goal of $1.25 million. Much work has been done from many alumni to get us to this point. We can't thank the group of alumni, parents, and little sisters who have helped to make this happen enough. NEW ALPHA SETTING A HIGH STANDARD Alpha Gamma is growing fast and the members now total 85, including a pledge class of 32. The young men selected have been honored both on campus and within our national fraternity. The Alpha received a rating of "Excellent" by the Order of Omega on campus for scholarship, campus involvement, community service, membership development, new member education, philanthropy, and risk management. SECURING OUR LEGACY FOR FUTURE CHI PSIS We are finalizing our housing and finance plans and hope to break ground in 2015. The exact timing will be determined soon. The new members of Alpha Gamma deserve to have a new Lodge to call home. Our time at the Lodge many years ago created lasting memories for all of us. We remember sitting on the couch reading the Daily Mississippian, people watching from the front porch, talking about the upcoming football games, being able to walk to the stadium from the Lodge, studying in the library, watching a game in the "bar," and playing basketball on the patio. The young men who have committed to Chi Psi at Ole Miss deserve to create their own memories in our new Lodge! HELP US FINISH STRONG To date, we have just over 90 contributing alumni, parents, and friends. We believe we need to exceed 100 commitments to show strong alumni support for our re-founding and building of a new Lodge. We are asking all alumni to consider giving to the campaign. Any contribution is needed and appreciated. With a five-year commitment option, you have the ability to spread your pledge over the years, making it more feasible to give. We have now made it possible to give to the campaign with automatic monthly withdrawals, as well as the ability to pay by credit card and e-check. We are very close to making this dream happen. Chi Psi needs support from everyone to reach our goal and celebrate a rapidly approaching groundbreaking!
