This is the largest amount we've ever raised, and the money will support St. Jude. SOCIAL EVENTS Tri Delta has won the past three University Sing shows and has high expectations for this year. Our theme is American Circus, and we are paired with the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon. University Sing is in conjunction with Dads' Day. The chapter also enjoyed an Opposites Attract date party, which was planned by Christy Thelen '12. HONORS Emily Sparks '13, Kaleigh Flanagan '12, Josie Lehman '13, Christa Cherian '13, and Molly Holder '13 were all accepted into the prestigious JCPenney Leadership Program. Only 48 students out of Price College of Business were accepted. MISS UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA Congratulations to Claire White '11, who was crowned Miss University of Oklahoma 2015. She will represent OU in the Miss Oklahoma Pageant in 2015. Tri Delta has recently had two other Miss OUs, Alicia Clifton '10 in 2011 and Jenna Partain '11 in 2012. Theta Gamma hosted its annual pancake breakfast in September. The event raised more than $13,000 for St. Jude Children's Hospital. Young alumnae gather on skit night. This year we had two performances, which worked very well. Claire White '11 was crowned Miss University of Oklahoma 2015. Tri Deltas Travel to St. Jude A full bus of Tri Delta undergraduates visited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on October 24. The bus left Norman early Friday morning, loaded with women, box breakfasts, and boxed lunches. When they arrived in Memphis, Emily Blanding '05 was there to greet them and start their tours. Emily works in the fundraising branch of the St. Jude organization. The women were greeted and welcomed by several doctors who gave an overview of the hospital and their roles at St. Jude. After the introduction and briefing, the women were divided into groups and given a tour of the hospital and the research area. They got to see lots of Tri Delta areas, including walls painted with Tri Delta symbols and cute girls wearing Tri Delta t-shirts. After a wonderful tour, the women loaded into the bus and made the long trip back to Norman. Everyone agreed that this was the best long day they had ever had. Thank you to all our alumnae who made contributions to this trip and continue to support fundraising activities in support of St Jude. Philanthropy Chairman Annie Harrirngton '12 coordinated the wonderful day trip. If you want to send a donation directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, you can mark the memo line of your check with Tri Delta Oklahoma University and the chapter will get some credit for your donation. A group of undergraduates took a daytrip to St. Jude.
