Without question, the brothers from the eta Delta Chapter at e Ohio State University are among them. "I am very proud to be a Beta and a graduate of e Ohio State University. My Beta experience was a special time in my life as I made some great lifelong friends," Steve shared. "e friends I made in the Fraternity are my best friends today. I didn't know that would be the case 30 years ago." When asked about his favorite college memories, Steve most fondly recalls just the daily interaction with his fellow brothers at the eta Delta Chapter House, as well as TGs on Friday nights, and participating on the Beta intramural sports teams. He cherished the camaraderie between the brothers and the fellowship they developed and believes that social interactions there prepared him for life aer college. "Well, I think eta Delta prepared me for how to live with and deal with a diverse group of people living in a community. e fraternity gave me the opportunity to be a member of a group that has to be individually accountable within the fraternity to do your part to make the fraternity work. While in my early Beta years I struggled with this concept a bit; I did quickly learn how to live with a group of guys who had diverse personalities and interests figuring out how to appease, lead, and follow. is really is no different than what we all face in our businesses every day." Steve decided to join a fraternity to make a large university feel more manageable, and decided to join Beta because from the first time he visited the house he knew that was where he wanted to be, even though many of his Columbus Ohio high school friends either did not join a fraternity or did not choose Beta if they did. e memories and friendships le a positive and lasting influence on Steve's life. To ensure that young men can have the same Beta experience he had, Steve chooses to stay connected with his brothers and is looking forward to the recolonization process. "I am certain we will find right group of men to get the Chapter back and make it a strong Fraternity for many years to come." Steve lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, Andrea "Andi", and their two sons, Zander, who is getting ready to graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, and Frankie, who attends Colorado College in Colorado Springs. He has been working at National Electric Coil for 27 years and has been one of the owners there for the last 20. Steve would love to hear from his Fraternity brothers.
