The Town of Parker is to have a pub- lic auction, selling off used vehicles, equipment and surplus materials to the highest bidders. According to the Town, the auction "will be conducted through com- petitive oral bidding with the fi nal sale being to the highest bidder." All items will be sold as-is. The public is invited to come and see the items to be sold on Thursday, December 4th and Friday, December 5th from 8am until 2pm. OUT & ABOUT Art Guild news The next meeting of the Quartzsite Art Guild is Nov. 20th and guests are welcome. The Art Guild meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at the Senior Center, 40 N. Moon Mountain at 6:30 pm. The next meeting will entail the groups personal renditions of, "The Masters". There will also be a section devoted to these paintings at the Fine Art Show on January 9th and 10th, 2015 which is also at the Senior Cen- ter. It should be noted that a portion of sales at the Quartzsite Art Guild Show is given back to the Quartzsite Community. Donations from the last show were given to; The art dept. at the Quartzsite Elementary School, Salvation Army, Historical Society & Food Bank.
