Dec. 6th from 3pm-5:30pm at the QIA. The cost is $5/person which includes samples of all the soups and chowders plus a dessert of your choice. The public will be able to cast a vote for their favorite. There will also be a raffl e for wonderful items. Tickets will be avail- able that night and at the QIA craft show that morning. We would like to thank the QIA for allowing us to use the facility to hold this event. Fall Festival fundraiser Nov. 15th Quartzsite, AZ - Get out your western gear, wild west spirit and buckaroos to join Covenant Lutheran Church and Thrivent at our November 15th fundraiser from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Covenant Lu- theran Church. Proceeds will be donated to the Quartzsite Food Bank & Isaiah 58 Project. Local crafters, artists and ven- dors are invited to have a table or booth for a $20.00 donation for their space. We hope that other local organizations, churches and people will also join in by getting a table to vend their items or sell food. Ice Cream,fruit cobbler, Sloppy Joes and Chips, yummy cinnamon rolls. You can purchase goodies at the bake sale. FREE coffee.We have a lengthy list of games for all the kids with great prizes, win or lose. There will be a Best Dressed Cowboy and Cowgirl Contest for the 12 and under group and face painting. Theme and decorations will be western so get in the spirit and get your cowgirl and cowboy duds ready. We are in need of many volunteers.
