It was a decision she has never regretted, and one that has had a lasting impact. From lifelong friends to unforgettable memories, Pi Phi has helped shape Jenifer into the person she is today. Looking back, Jenifer has a few favorite memories that stand out from her undergraduate years: "From songfest to preparing for rush parties," she recalls. "Also gathering in the TV room to watch Dynasty on Tuesdays." As an alumna, Jenifer is happy to be in a position to give back to Colorado Alpha for all it gave her. "The chapter house was a wonderful place to live and a community of great friends. It's important to maintain the house through the years. It is an amazing place and I hope that girls will continue to live there and enjoy it for many years to come," Jenifer says. Because of how much significance the house holds, it was extremely important to Jenifer to support the campaign. "I know the alumnae helped a lot when I was there to improve the house and make things better for us. I just wanted to return the favor." Jenifer's support will ensure that future pledge classes of Colorado Alpha have the same experiences and opportunities as she did. It will allow them to flourish as individuals, recruit amazing women and build a strong sisterhood. Jenifer and her husband, Aaron, live in Boulder, Colorado, with their son, Sam (20), and daughter, Tess (18). Jenifer, who received a B.S. in chemical engineering from CU, works in medical device research and development. "It was been really rewarding to see products getting used to improve patient care in surgery." In her free time, Jenifer enjoys golf, hiking, and standup paddling at the lake during the summer. During the winter, you can find her and her family on the ski slopes. They also love to travel when they have time. Email: jk@jeniferkennedy.com At Colorado Alpha we really do live in heaven! A double rainbow stretched right above the beautiful home during one of our recruitment practices.
