"I still have dear friends who were my ACW sisters at the U of F," she said. Bobbie Sue's daughter joined Alpha Chi and she has a 17-year-old granddaughter, who she hopes will also choose ACW. Ann Vance Anderson '56 has two grandchildren. They live in Tampa, Fla., but will be moving to Charlotte, N.C., when school is out. She has camped with her husband, Al, in a number of states in their RV. The couple's home base is an oceanfront condo in Dayton Beach, Fla., where they enjoy walking on the beach and people watching, especially at special events like Bike Week. "I recently convinced myself that I am not too old and began taking horseback riding lessons," Pat said. "Al and I hope to own our own horses in the near future." She stays in contact with Alpha Chi Omega sisters from 1970 and plans to participate more as an alumna in the future since she recently retired from teaching at the college level. E-mail: nessie2153@gmail.com Jennifer Arnason Mason '79 and her husband, Richard, are blessed by three children, Richie (22), Grace (20), and Tyler (20). She lives in a Boston suburb and enjoys the seasons, even the winter. She skis in the winter and boats in the summer. Jennifer works at a bank, providing small business administration loans to people buying and starting businesses. Suzanne Ryan Sproul '80 and her husband, Don, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in June. Their oldest daughter, Baillie, Epsilon '08, is a civil engineer. Suzanne's younger daughter, Griffin, is a freshman at the University of California-Davis, studying public policy and is considering a law degree. She is a Kappa Alpha Theta. Karen Gurley Lasater '86 is the sound technician for Books Alive! The company brings children's book to life as a 45-minute musical, complete with original music and lyrics. "Literacy through the Arts touches over 50,000 young people and teachers each year, bringing the magic of theater to them," Karen said. Karen has also been with the group for more than three years as an actor, props designer, and choreographer. It is a registered 501(c)(3) and ministers to needy families in the Lake City, Fla., area. The ministry also leads mission trips to Buena Vista, Guatemala. The couple is excited to start this new chapter in their lives with their two labradoodles, Blackjack and Penny. Kristin works as a physician assistant, specializing in gynecologic oncology. She quickly became involved with Miami's local chapter, Beta Omicron Beta, and will soon serve as VP young alumnae. "My time is spent between working as the sales manager for my family's third-generation jewelry store, yoga, Alpha Chi, the Gator Club, and BNI," Jillian said. "The Lord has sweetly provided eight brides my first year in Birmingham, Ala., and even one bride in Mississippi," Kalee said. Her goal is to do wedding and events full-time.
