Sisters Thankful for New Lodge Just before recruitment began, Texas Gamma was able to enter our gorgeous new lodge. We surprised the Chapter with balloons and a fun reveal. The Chapter was so excited and surprised to see our lodge. It took about eight months, but it was finally done just before recruitment. We built a very large Chapter room, library, living room, and media room. A Pi Phi from Texas Delta did the stunning decorating. Chapter Welcomes 83 New Members We had a very successful recruitment. Our Chapter is so proud of our record-setting new member class of 83. With 146 active members, it is a good thing we got our new lodge! Upcoming Events This semester, we hosted our first Dad's Weekend. We played golf, went dancing, and attended the Arkansas football game. It was a blast to see all of our dads. We will also be having our annual Parent's Weekend during Homecoming. We will host a fun dinner and the annual presentation of our new member class. Executive Council Update Texas Gamma is very excited to announce our new executive council member, Ally Farrar '11. She will be our vice president of event planning this semester. She was the vice president of finance in 2013. We are so happy that she can join us again. Ally has already started a newsletter for the Chapter. It is distributed via e-mail and a link is posted on our Facebook page at Texas Tech Pi Phi. She always provides Chapter news and useful tips. It is a really great tool for the Chapter to use. We are very excited to begin this semester with our new members and experience all the excitement a new school year brings! Yours in Pi Beta Phi, Morgan Kinloch '11, Chapter President morgan.kinloch@ttu.edu Pi Phis Kick Off the School Year with Record-Setting Recruitment and a Beautiful New Lodge A group of sophomores welcome Texas Gamma's 83 new members. Hannah Cleveland '13, Laura Ragsdale '14, and Mackenzie Pierce '14 celebrate Bid Day.
