Brief history: Defendant drove her vehicle while in- toxicated and crashed into another vehicle driven by the victim. The victim and two other occupants inside victim's vehicle all received injuries as a result of the col- lision. Sentenced to 2 years State Prison. People vs. Anthony Clay- ton Filppula, Receiving Sto- len Property. Brief history: Victim re- ported his shed had been burglarized and his ATV had been stolen along with other items. An investiga- tion led deputies to contact the defendant where they lo- cated the stolen ATV on de- fendant's property. Sentenced to 2 years Lo- cal Prison. People vs. Dillon Christo- pher McFadyen, Carrying a Dirk or Dagger. Brief history: Agents con- ducted a search of defen- dant's person and located a sharpened screwdriver con- cealed in defendant's pocket. Sentenced to 16 months State Prison. Brief history: Defendant walked into a business and requested to use the rest- room. When the defendant returned from the restroom he had spoons with heroin residue on them. The defen- dant proceeded totellanem- ployee that he would put the blame for the drugs on him unless he received money. Sentenced to 270 days county jail. People vs. Daryl Burton Rose, Possession of a Con- trolledSubstance;Possession of a Controlled Substance, Maintaining Place For Sell- ing or Using Controlled Sub- stance; Sale of a Controlled Substance(4 counts). Brief history: Defendant was originally granted for- mal probation on both cases. Defendant violated his pro- bation when he was found in possession of drug par- aphernalia, tested positive for methamphetamine and failed to complete his drug and alcohol treatment pro- gram. Defendant sold meth- amphetamine during an un- dercover drug buy. Sentenced to 180 days county jail. People vs. Michael Jo- seph Kupfer, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with Three Prior Convictions. Brief history: Officers con- ducted a traffic stop on a ve- hicle driven by the defen- dant. Upon contacting the defendant the officer ob- served a strong odor of alco- hol and observed the defen- dant to be unsteady on his feet. Defendant was arrested and taken into custody. Sentenced to 180 days county jail. People vs. Jamie Rudd Durham, Aid by Misrepre- sentation. Brief history: Defendant was receiving aid from the county and failed to report he was employed and receiv- ing additional income. Sentenced to 180 days county jail. People vs. Austin James Anderson, Second Degree Commercial Burglary. Brief history: Defendant walked into a grocery store, grabbed a bottle of alcohol and exited the store without paying for the item. Sentenced to 180 days county jail. People vs. Julia Kathryn Kelly, Petty Theft With Pri- ors. Brief history: Defendant entered a business, placed items in a bag and attempted to exit the store without pay- ing for the items. Sentenced to 120 days county jail. People vs. Corey Leon Mc- Manus, Second Degree Com- mercial Burglary. Brief history: Defendant broke out the window of a classroom and stole several items from inside. Deputies conducted a search of defen- dant's residence and found several of the stolen items. Sentenced to 120 days county jail. People vs. Robert Shan Morrison, Failure to Appear on Own Recognizance. Brief history: Defendant was released from custody onhis own recognizance and failed to appear in court as required. Sentenced to 120 days county jail. People vs. Tyler Allen Bur- rone, Vehicular Manslaugh- ter Brief history: Defendant was driving his vehicle down the highway and failed to no- tice that the victim's vehicle had stopped in front of him and was attempting to make a left turn. Defendant rear ended the victim's vehicle and forced it into the path of an oncoming semi truck. The five year old victim in- side the vehicle received fa- tal injuries as a result of the crash and the child's mother was seriously injured. Arraignment on Informa- tion: Sept. 15 at 3:30 p.m. in Department 1 People vs. Poly Duenas Sanchez, Lucio Nenecia Madera, Gabino Madera, Murder with Special Alle- gation Personal and Inten- tional Discharge of a Fire- arm, GBI, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime with Spe- cial Allegation Personal and Intentional Discharge of a Firearm, GBI. Brief history: Victim had met up with the three defen- dants regarding money that was allegedly owed to the victim. During this confron- tation the victim was chased down and shot twice with a shotgun. The victim died as a result of his injuries. Setting: Sept. 23 at 8 a.m. in Department 3. People vs. Quentin Ray Bealer, Murder. Brief history: Defendant was arrested and charged with the murder of a 14 year old victim who had been re- ported missing when she never returned home from school. Officers located the victim's body two days later. Change of Venue Motion: Oct. 9 at 8:30 a.m. in Depart- ment 1. People vs. Jessie Lee Ro- bison, Murder with Special Allegations Use of Deadly Weapon, Prior Felony, Prior Strike, Prior Serious Felony. Brief history: Defendant and victim had been fighting when the defendant pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim later died as a result of his injuries. Preliminary HearingPTC: Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. in Depart- ment 1. Preliminary Hearing: Oct. 16 at 1:30 p.m. in Depart- ment 3. People vs. Roger Sandy Bounnhaseng, Alan Duane Doulphus Jr., Chase Alan Doulphus: Murder, special allegation felony murder, personal and intentional, use of a firearm, assault with a firearm, false imprisonment by violence, transportation of marijuana. Brief history: The defen- dants went to a residence that contained a marijuana grow. The defendants con- fronted the victim and two other men who were at the residence and ordered them to the ground at gunpoint. The defendants proceeded to tie up the victim and the two men with zip ties and duct tape. The victim was able to free himself and at- tempt to flee the residence but was shot several times by the armed defendants. The victim eventually suc- cumbed to his injuries. De- fendant's vehicle was lo- cated a short time later and a vehicle pursuit followed. Defendant's were eventu- ally apprehended and taken into custody.
