Anchored in Tradition, Building Our Future Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Delta Gamma Southern Methodist University W e have some exciting news to share with you! To help us reach our final campaign goal, a generous group of donors has offered us an exciting challenge. Any pledge or gift to the Anchored in Tradition, Building Our Future campaign made between now and September 30, 2014, will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to a cumulative total of $100,000 in matched gifts. This means that your gift or pledge will be doubled in value and go twice as far in helping us secure the future of Delta Gamma at Southern Methodist University. If you've been contemplating a gift to the campaign, the time is now. Please don't wait. This is a one-time opportunity to have your gift matched 100%. But time is of the essence and the matching pool is limited to $100,000. Don't miss out on the opportunity to capitalize on this initiative! If we are successful in our endeavor, the campaign stands to gain $200,000. The Matching Gift Challenge comes at a great time, as we have increased our campaign goal to $2.2 million. This increase will help pay for aspects of the new chapter house not included in the original construction costs, including security, landscaping, furniture, and wireless Internet. The ability to recruit and retain the best young women requires that our facility be among the best with respect to modernization, educational programming, computer/Internet access, and safety. Thanks to 399 of our alumnae and friends, we have raised $1,916,184 to date! The support and generosity of our alumnae has been inspirational as we set the highest standards to build the new home for Delta Gammas at SMU. Having reached $1.9 million from only 17% of the nearly 2,000 living Alpha Upsilon alumnae, we've realized that we can reach this goal together. Join with your sisters for a class gift, honor a loved one through a five-year pledge, or join your family to place your name on the distinguished list of donors below and on page two. Any size gift is truly appreciated, and helps bring us one step closer to making our dreams a reality. If you have already given to the campaign but wish to give additional funds, this is a great opportunity to help us reach our goal. Please use the enclosed pledge card to make your gift today. With your help, we're confident we'll reach our goal!
