Bony '71 T hank you, generous alumni and friends, for contributing over $2,400,000 to the Brothers Together-Building a Future Campaign. The Chapter appreciates the generous gifts that were made during the capital campaign from all donors. In the fall of 2006 a plaque recognizing all donors contributing $100 or more was prominently displayed on a wall in the Chapter house. Each donor is listed under their individual giving level. The level of giving was based on the amount pledged by each donor —the same list was printed in the fall edition of The Hoop of Steel. The following printed list is based on actual payments received from donors and includes contributions from both the original campaign and the challenge campaign. There are a number of changes from the 2006 list as some donors increased their giving and some donors were unable to complete payment of their total pledge. Thank You, Alumni and Friends DAD'S WEEKEND HELPS RAiSE $3,200 FoR SiGEP T his year marked a change in the timing of both Mom's weekend and Dad's weekend, with the moms heading to Manhattan in the fall and the dads in the spring. Dad's weekend took place on Saturday, April 26, and began with a brief visit to the house followed by a tailgate event prior to the Kansas State football spring game. we had a great turnout of dads, who enjoyed the barbeque and hanging out with their sons while getting to meet the other fathers. It was a very windy day and the football itself was a fairly defensive display, but the purple team of K-State's starters eventually pulled away from the white team with a final score of 23-13. After the game everyone headed to Aggieville to participate in the Parent's Club auction and dinner. Thanks to all the parents who donated and dads whose purchases helped to raise $3,200 to be used for projects at the Chapter house. The evening concluded with the dads and their sons celebrating in the infamous Zappa Deli, as well as in Aggieville. Special thanks go out to Marita Soucie and Sherye locke for their planning and tireless assistance during the weekend.
