his has been a very busy
semester for the men of
Lambda Chi Alpha at MS&T.
The Chapter has been concentrating
on improving the Chapter GPA
and it has really paid off. Spring
semester GPA was 3.079, good for
4th place out of all fraternities on
campus. The Chapter vaulted from
14th place in fall 2013 to 4th place
in spring 2014.
On November 3, ADZ raised close
to $3,000 at the 52nd Annual
Chicky B, which was distributed between
Gingerbread House and Choices for People.
We also took third place for raising over 66,000
pounds of food in the North American Food
Drive, benefitting Feeding America.
We also did well in intramural sports, placing
sixth for 2013-14.
On February 22, ADZ initiated 10 new men
into our brotherhood. They did a great job this
semester in all aspects of brotherhood and are
proving every day why they are Lambda Chis.
During the summer, the second-
floor hallway was painted and new
lights were hung. Repairs were also
made on the boiler, bathrooms,
and new kitchen exhaust fan. Later
this summer, we hope to improve
flooring on the first floor, which
was slightly damaged due to a
leak. A few door frames are also
showing wear and the deck needs
to be repainted as well. Concrete
has been poured and a new mail
drop box will be installed by the
post office soon.
Thank you, alumni, for your continued support
of the campaign and our Chapter. We wouldn't
be able to be as successful without you. Next
time you're in the area, please stop by the
house, meet the newest additions to ADZ, and
see your investments hard at work. Our door is
always open.
