City/County Awards for Appearance The City of Fayetteville and Cumberland County are recognizing properties in Cumberland County for enhancing the appearance of the community. Properties in the towns of Eastover, Falcon, Godwin, Hope Mills, Linden, Spring Lake, Stedman and Wade, and in the city of Fayetteville, can be nominated. Through 11 categories, the 3rd Annual Community Appearance Awards Program is calling for nominations through June 15. The City and County are asking the public to nomi- nate properties for recognition. The City/County Joint Appearance Commission will recognize properties at an awards ceremony this summer. the online form posted on the website at www.cityoffayetteville.org/appearanceaward/. Residents can also request a paper form by calling 433-1612 or printing one off the website. Paper forms must be mailed. At least three photos of the property are required, Photos must be from different angles and must be in .jpg, .tif or .bmp format. Printed images will not be returned. Nominations must be postmarked, emailed or submitted online by June 15, 2011.
