Quentin Ray Bealer, 40, was sentenced to 16 months in local prison after pleading guilty in March to a charge of receiving known stolen prop- erty, the Tehama County District Attorney's Of- fice announced. The case was filed in December 2012, before Marysa's death in February 2013. Bealer, the District Attorney's Office said, was found in possession of items stolen from a locker at a local high school. Associated charges of sec- ond degree commercial burglary and possession of a smoking device were dismissed. Bealer has been in custody at Tehama County Jail since he was arrested March 2, 2013 on sus- picion of being under the influence of drugs after turning himself in to Red Bluff police as a person of interest in Marysa's death. Marysa, who attended a charter school on Red Bluff High School's campus, was found dead in a dry creek bed near the campus Feb. 28, 2013.
