C Calendar BeverlyRossandtheTe- hama County Elections De- partment remind voters they can drop off their vote- by-mail ballot at the drop box at the end of Pine Street near the Tehama County Library at 645 Madison St., Red Bluff. This box is maintained by the Elections Department and allows voters to drive up and drop their ballot in the secure box without fighting for a parking space, paying for postage or visiting a poll- ing location on election day. Voters can check the sta- tus of their returned vote- by-mail ballot by logging on to the Tehama County web- site at www.co.tehama.ca.us, clicking on the Elections De- partment then on the vote- by-mail status link. Then en- ter your date of birth and ei- ther the last four digits of your driver's license num- ber or your Social Security number. As always you can still return a vote-by-mail ballot the following ways: By mail: Affix the correct amount of 49-cent postage to the envelope and drop it in the mail no later than May 28to ensure it makes it to our office by 8p.m. on election day. Post marks will not count. Drop off: Bring it to the election office, 444Oak St., Room C, Red Bluff. You may drop off your ballot 8a.m. to 5p.m. weekdays until June 3. Election day: Either bring your ballot to the election office at the above address 7a.m. to 8p.m. Or drop it off at any Polling Place in Tehama County 7a.m. to 8 p.m. Ballots must be turned in by 8 p.m. election day or they will not count. Tehama County 4-H members participated April 26 in the annual 4-H Fash- ion Revue. The event was open to all ages with some divisions open to members not cur- rently in Clothing/Textile projects. Divisions included traditional sewn outfits, purchased outfits, upcycled, denim, apron challenges as well as teams and adults. County Winners are en- couraged to move on to the State Fashion Revue taking place May 31 at the 4-H State Field Day at UC Davis. County Winners are Katie Conner of Plum Valley 4-H in Traditional; Olivia Silvera of Antelope 4-H and Courteny Calhoun of Plum Valley 4-H in Consumer Science/Pur- chased; Julia Silvera of An- telope 4-H in Upcycled; Trin- ity Kingwell of Olive 4-H in Denim Challenge; Noelle Chapman of Antelope 4-H and Olivia Silvera also of Antelope 4-H in the Apron Challenge.
